Our Story

J. Anderson Piano Services began when Javan Anderson realized that many of the piano technicians and tuners in southern Georgia were retiring and were no longer available. Javan had been tuning pianos for about 10 years on the side for local friends and family members. It was never a legitimate income. It was more of a hobby. It still is. Javan is a Certified Piano Technician from the Piano Technician Academy

However, Javan’s number one priority and his calling is serving as the Minister of Music at Baxley Church of God where he has been for since 2007. His passion is leading the music and worship for the members and attenders of his church.

This is the reason Javan only works as a piano technician on Fridays.

J. Anderson Piano Services continues to grow and has expanded into moving pianos as well. Javan employs his sons to help with the labor of the move with J. Anderson & Sons Piano Moving Services.

Javan is an accomplished pianist as well as a piano technician. He will never leave a piano he would not be happy to play.
